Governor Burgum Declares March as Aviation Month in North Dakota

    Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today applauded Governor Doug Burgum for recognizing March as “Aviation Month.” The aviation and aerospace industries annually contribute $3.6 billion to North Dakota’s economy.

    “In North Dakota, general aviation and our network of airports support the livelihood of businesses, towns, cities, and farms across the state and country,” said Devin Osting, interim executive director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We thank Governor Burgum for his leadership in recognizing the importance of general aviation and look forward to further working with him and other leaders to support these aircraft and our network of airports.”

    Formed in 2007, the Alliance for Aviation Across America is a non-profit, non-partisan coalition of over 7,000 individuals representing businesses, agricultural groups, FBO’s, small airports, elected officials, charitable organizations, and leading business and aviation groups that support the interests of the general aviation community across various public policy issues.
