The Alliance Commends Watertown Mayor Thorson for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Steve Thorson of Watertown, South Dakota for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In South Dakota, the aviation industry supports nearly $800 million in business sales.
“Mayor Thorson’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Watertown and the state of South Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Watertown for recognizing this vital industry.”
