The Alliance Commends Grand Junction Mayor Norris for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Phyllis Norris of Grand Junction, Colorado for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Colorado, general aviation contributes over $2.4 billion to the state’s economy annually.
“Mayor Norris’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Grand Junction and the state of Colorado,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Grand Junction for recognizing this vital industry.”
