The Alliance Commends Columbia Mayor McDavid for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Bob McDavid of Columbia, Missouri for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Missouri, general aviation airports support an economic impact of over $857 million.
“Mayor McDavid’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Columbia and the state of Missouri,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Columbia for recognizing this vital industry.”
