The Alliance Commends Mankato Mayor Anderson for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Eric Anderson of Mankato, Minnesota for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Minnesota, the total economic output of general aviation is over $5 billion.
“Mayor Anderson’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Mankato and the state of Minnesota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Mankato for recognizing this vital industry.”
