The Alliance Commends Los Angeles County Mayor Antonovich for Declaring January ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Michael Antonovich of Los Angeles County, California for proclaiming January “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In California, general aviation contributes over $18.2 billion to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Antonovich’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Los Angeles County and the state of California,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and Los Angeles County for recognizing this vital industry.”
