The Alliance Commends Rocky Mount Mayor Combs for Declaring November ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor David Combs of Rocky Mount, North Carolina for proclaiming November “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In North Carolina, general aviation contributes over $2 billion to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Combs’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Rocky Mount and the state of North Carolina,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Rocky Mount for recognizing this vital industry.”
