The Alliance Commends Clanton Mayor Driver for Declaring November ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Billy Joe Driver of Clanton, Alabama for proclaiming November “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Alabama, general aviation contributes over $1.7 billion to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Driver’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Clanton and the state of Alabama,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Clanton for recognizing this vital industry.”
