The Alliance Commends Lewisburg Mayor Manchester for Declaring October ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor John Manchester of Lewisburg, West Virginia for proclaiming October “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In West Virginia, general aviation contributes $616 million to the state’s economy annually.
“Mayor Manchester’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Lewisburg and the state of West Virgina,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Lewisburg for recognizing this vital industry.”
