The Alliance Commends Hagerstown Mayor Gysberts for Declaring September ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor David Gysberts of Hagerstown, Maryland for proclaiming September “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Maryland, general aviation contributes over $550 million annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Gysberts’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Hagerstown and the state of Maryland,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Hagerstown for recognizing this vital industry.”
