The Alliance Commends Annapolis Mayor Pantelides for Declaring September ‘Maryland General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Mike Pantelides of Annapolis, Maryland for proclaiming September “Maryland General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Maryland, general aviation contributes over $550 million annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Pantelides’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Annapolis and the state of Maryland,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city of Annapolis for recognizing this vital industry.”
