The Alliance Commends Fallon Mayor Tedford for Declaring June ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Ken Tedford Jr. of Fallon, Nevada for proclaiming June “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Nevada, general aviation contributes over $721 million annually to the state’s economy, and supports over 3,300 jobs statewide.
“Mayor Tedford’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to Fallon and the state of Nevada,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the city for recognizing this vital industry.”
