The Alliance Commends Binghamton Mayor David for Declaring May ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Richard C. David of Binghamton, New York, for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In New York, general aviation contributes over $1 billion annually to the state’s economy, and supports over 8,600 jobs statewide.
“Mayor David’s proclamation helps illustrate the essential services and economic benefits that general aviation provides to Binghamton and the state of New York,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor David and the city of Binghamton for their part in recognizing this important industry.”
