The Alliance Commends Langdon Mayor Charles Downs for Declaring March “General Aviation Appreciation Month”
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Charles Downs, of Langdon, North Dakota, for proclaiming March “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In North Dakota, general aviation contributes $1.6 billion annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Downs’ proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of North Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Downs and the city of Langdon for their recognition of this important industry.”
