The Alliance Commends Mitchell Mayor Ken Tracy for Declaring February ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’
Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Ken Tracy of Mitchell, South Dakota for proclaiming February “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In South Dakota, general aviation contributes an annual economic impact of $303 million.
“Mayor Tracy’s proclamation is helpful in educating the public about the contribution that general aviation makes to South Dakota’s economy, medical care, law enforcement, and other vital services,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We thank Mayor Tracy for his support of general aviation, and look forward to working with him in the future.”
