The Reading Aviation Career Expo is growing.
The annual exhibition will welcome visitors to the Reading Regional Airport this weekend for three events in two days. There will be opportunities to learn more about the Bern Township airfield, discover career opportunities in the aviation industry, attend a show featuring classic cars and aircraft, and party inside an airplane hangar.
This is the fourth edition of the festival to take place.
Reading Regional Airport Director Zackary Tempesco said the events are designed to encourage the community to visit the airfield and check out the growth that is happening at the site.

This year, the expo will consist of three events:
• On Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the NetJets Aviation Career Fair will take place inside the airport terminal. Tempesco said the free event will give students and professionals a chance to explore aviation careers, connect with industry leaders and engage with more than 30 exhibitors. Those exhibitors include airline companies, colleges that offer aviation courses, corporations involved in the aviation industry and flight simulators.
• On Oct. 10 from 6 to 10 p.m. the WEEU Hangar Party will be held at Reading Aviation’s main hangar. Tempesco said the party will feature light refreshments, alcoholic beverages and music by Brass Pocket Band. Guests must be 21 and older. Tickets are $12.50 before the event and $20 at the door.
• On Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Aeros and Autos Car Show will take place at the airport. Tempesco said the community-oriented event will combine the excitement of a classic car show with the unique appeal of aviation. The show features a diverse lineup of cars displayed alongside aircraft, along with local vendors and plenty of food options. Tickets are $10 before the event and $15 at the door. Kids ages 8 and younger will be admitted free.
