The Fullerton Municipal Airport will open the gate on Saturday, June 1st, allowing hundreds of visitors onto the field to experience a vast array of helicopters, war birds, and classic vintage planes on display again. Airport Day is an annual event that offers the public a unique opportunity to experience this up close and personal.
Observing, photographing, and, in many cases, speaking directly to individuals connected to these exciting vehicles is a memorable annual event, and it is all free.
In addition to all the free stuff, there are opportunities to purchase short helicopter and plane rides, and of course, there are always food trucks or Wings Café to make it a fun day for the whole family.
The City of Fullerton is proud of the airport’s rich history since its founding in 1928. This event showcases the airport’s important role. Parking and the entrance are located at 4011 West Commonwealth at Magnolia, Fullerton.
