An Albuquerque woman’s design will grace T-shirts for the Clovis’ Wings and Wheels event, scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Clovis Regional Airport.
The winning design is entitled “Retro Feels Wings N’ Wheels,” and was created by Albuquerque’s Danielle Leach, according to a news release from the city of Clovis.
In her submission, the news release stated, Leach wrote “I wanted to add the main elements of a fly-over, car and airplane in solid design that would pop off the background. New Mexico sunsets and sunrises are unmatched, so I used a big bold setting sun.”
She said she chose colors that would maintain a “retro feel.”
Leach’s design will be featured on the official Wings N’ Wheels T-shirt and the Clovis Regional Airport website & social media, according to the news release.
She will receive two free T-shirts and a Wings N’ Wheels & City of Clovis gift basket, V.I.P Parking, recognition at the event and become an honorary car contest judge with the ability to choose her favorite car show entry and present them with a prize, the news release stated.
The Wings and Wheels event will feature a static air show, car show and military flyover. Food trucks, vendors, a kid zone, prizes and other attractions
