Murfreesboro Aviation flight school is offering free Discovery Flights on Veterans Day on Monday for veterans of all branches.
Our owner, Cpl. James “Jim” Gardner, a disabled Army veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, is bringing the veteran community together.
Gardner, an experienced pilot, will be offering flights in his personal aircraft as well.
“I’m honored to be a veteran and we would like to honor all branches, who have also served. This is a small gesture to make a happy and exciting memory for my fellow veterans,” said Gardner.

Flight hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. To get to Murfreesboro Aviation, located at 1936 Memorial Blvd., look for the American flag after turning into the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport complex.
