MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) — The Arc-Dane County, in collaboration with Delta Air Lines and the Dane County Regional Airport, hosted their Wings for All event on Saturday afternoon in Madison.
The airport rehearsal program is designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with autism.
The event gave families the chance to experience the process of taking a flight at Dane County Regional Airport.
Another goal of the event is to assist the families of those involved. Families arrived at the airport, checked-in at the ticket counter and received their boarding pass, went through TSA security and finally boarded a plane that did not take off.
