Eagle Creek Aviation Services, a leading provider of aircraft services and sales, announced today that it has received the AMT Diamond Award of Excellence from the FAA for participating in the Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program. This is the fifth consecutive year that Eagle Creek Aviation Services has won this prestigious award.
It was presented to Eagle Creek on March 23, 2016, in Indianapolis by the FAA’s Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
In addition, 28 Eagle Creek technicians received individual Bronze or Silver AMT Certificates of Training from the FAA for completing eligible aviation maintenance training. One hundred percent of Eagle Creek Aviation Services’ technicians had to earn individual awards for 2015 in order for the company to receive the Diamond Award.
Eagle Creek Aviation Services spent over 1,300 man-hours on training in 2015. Training ranged from formal classroom instruction to on-the-job training and was carefully tracked and submitted to the FAA. The company is engaged in further training this year in order to earn the award for 2016 and on track to exceed the training hours completed in 2015.
“We’re honored to be recognized by the FAA again for the investment we make in training our technical team,” said Eagle Creek CEO Matt Hagans. “Our staff of professionals is committed to staying current on maintenance training which they continue to demonstrate. It’s a tremendous accomplishment to win this award for five consecutive years.
