The Alliance for Aviation Across America commended Mayor Bob Coburn of Muskogee for proclaiming April “General Aviation Appreciation Month,” according to a media release.
In Oklahoma, general aviation has a total economic output of more than $2.5 billion.
“Mayor Coburn’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of Muskogee and the State of Oklahoma,” said Selena Shilad, executive director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the mayor and the city of Muskogee for recognizing this vital industry.”
