A ceremony was held Tuesday for the completion of the airport’s $1 million new 4,500 square foot terminal building and its $2 million apron and taxiway project with a new access road. The airport also added a new hangar. City officials say the expansion will allow the airport to grow.
“I think the majority of everybody that uses the airport is very impressed. They’re excited about the opportunities and with the good customer service we have out here, the great facility, there’s just a lot of positive things happening,” said Bill Keefer, Grove City Manager.
City officials say the improved regional airport also creates more opportunities to bring in businesses to Grove.
