SAN ANTONIO- The City of San Antonio’s Aviation Department signed the ground lease Wednesday on the Stinson Municipal Airport property.
The Airport is conveniently located only 6 miles south of downtown San Antonio’s central business district and has easy access to all major highways.
Western LLC will design a new corporate and executive hanger development that will produce marketing strategies to implement and increase Stinson’s visibility regionally, nationally and internationally without expending the Airport’s resources.
Stinson Municipal Airport has 100 years of aviation experience and is the second oldest general aviation airport in continuous operations throughout the United States. Stinson acts as the primary reliever for general aviation traffic in San Antonio and is extremely appealing to individuals, owners/operators of light aircraft, and private aviation companies.
Western intends to develop a total of six luxury corporate and executive hangers in its first phase. The six units total over 63,000 square feet of hangar space and four of the hangars will have attached offices.
