Representatives from the Tampa Business Aviation Association (TBAA) are on hand this week at the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority’s booth (B-096) at Sun ’n’ Fun 2015 to promote the association and highlight its partnership with HCAA. For the last five years, TBAA has worked closely with HCAA to help spread news about aviation safety in the Tampa Bay area, TBAA treasurer Daniel Slapo told AIN. “With our relationship, we have been able share information better between the community and the HCAA to build a safer aviation community.”
HCAA has also hosted TBAA’s annual safety day for the past four years. The relationship is continuing for the association’s 2015 safety day, which will be held September 19 at the Volo Aviation FBO at Tampa Executive Airport. Former NTSB senior air safety investigator Greg Feith is one of the scheduled speakers at the event.
Meanwhile, TBAA is gearing up for its annual charity golf event, which will be held on May 29 at Cove Cay Golf Club in Clearwater, Fla. Proceeds from the outing will go to All Children’s Hospital Guild of Largo, Fla.
