Following the resignation of Jesse Romo, the Kansas Department of Transportationhas named Tiffany Brown the acting director of its aviation division.
Romo is leaving the position to become director of the Manhattan Regional Airport.
Brown assumes her new role on April 16.
She joined KDOT in February 2013 and has served as the agency’s deputy director of aviation while managing the Kansas Airport Improvement Program.
Prior to joining KDOT, Brown, a native of Overland Park, worked as a design engineer on airport master plans for a Manhattan consulting firm.
She holds an engineering degree from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University.
