Metro’s helicopter rescue of three snowed in hikers at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area on Monday turned out well in two ways: The hikers were fine, and the video made for some incredible views.
Las Vegas police released video of the rescue helicopter flying in to pick up the outdoor adventurers, who had been stuck along the Ice Box Canyon trail for about 24 hours. The hikers are visible at one point, but the most dramatic sites are aerial views of the canyon’s snow covered cliffs and walls.
Viewers get a chance to see the wintry sights the hikers saw, but from the warmth of home.
