A man and his dog were plucked from the side of a grassy cliff in Porter Ranch by a rescue helicopter on Sunday night.
The pair were uninjured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, but had become stuck and were unable to hike up the cliff.
The rescue was reported just before 10 p.m. Sunday off Braemore Road in Porter Ranch.
The pair were stranded about 75 to 100 feet down the cliffside.
Los Angeles Fire Department rescuers performed a “helicopter hoist” to bring the pair to safety. The rescue was caught on video.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to airlift them out of the canyon.
