Applications are available for the Citizen’s Airport Academy, a program that provides a comprehensive overview of operations at Sugar Land Regional Airport.
Participants learn about the airport’s history, its role in the city’s organization, airport operations, the economic impact on the region and benefits provided to Sugar Land residents and businesses.
The six-week course begins Jan. 29, with classes held every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Academy registration ends Monday, Dec. 15, and applications are available at https://volunteer.sugarlandtx.gov.
