The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Wednesday approved its version of legislation to fund DOT and FAA for fiscal year 2015, which begins Oct. 1. As previously reported, the House measure proposes $3.35 billion in funding for AIP and $140 million in dedicated funding for the Contract Tower Program and cost-share program.
The House draft now moves to consideration by the full House Appropriations Committee. The Senate is expected to begin consideration of its version of the FY 2015 DOT/FAA spending bill in the near future.
