Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Michael R. Brown, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, for proclaiming March “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In North Dakota, general aviation contributes $1.6 billion annually to the state’s economy.
“Mayor Brown’s proclamation helps to educate the public about the economic and other benefits general aviation provides to the state of North Dakota,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank Mayor Brown and the city of Grand Forks for their recognition of this important industry.”
