K.I. SAWYER – Lake Superior Chapter 850 of the Experimental Aircraft Association will offer free airplane flights for youths ages 8 through17 beginning with registration from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Sawyer Airport’s General Aviation Terminal, about a mile south of the passenger terminal.
Parents or legal guardians must complete a permission form before the flight; relatives are not legal guardians. Flights last about 30 minutes and are offered through the Young Eagles program. Flights may be canceled due to unfavorable weather. For more information, call 361-6196.
