Construction began this past week on a new Minot Aero Center hangar with other amenities for general aviation pilots.
The new hangar is being built to accommodate more and larger aircraft than the center’s existing hangar.
R&K Contractors Inc., of Minot, is the contractor for the $2.5 million project. The hangar is being built north and northwest of the existing Minot Aero Center, the general aviation terminal, at the Minot International Airport.
