During a press conference last week at HeliExpo, the Alliance for Aviation Across America announced that Helicopter Association International (HAI) has joined the Board of Directors of the Alliance. We here at the Alliance look forward to working with the helicopter community moving forward. Both the Alliance and HAI share a common goal of helping educate the public in communities across the country about the tremendous value of general aviation aircraft. Within its various forms, general aviation aircraft play a prominent role in providing disaster relief, medical care, and law enforcement just to name a few.
Recently, the Alliance has welcomed American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), Airborne Law Enforcement Association, American Helicopter Services and Aerial Firefighting Association, the Air Medical Operators Association, and LightHawk to its growing membership. With over 5,700 member individuals and organizations nation-wide we are proud that HAI has joined us and we look forward to working together with them on important issues relevant to the aviation community moving forward for the years to come.
