This past Saturday, more than 2 dozen very deserving kids got the opportunity to take to the air at Taylor Municipal Airport (TX). The fly day for the kids was conducted by The Flying Vikings organization, which provides plane rides to children who are disabled and chronically ill. Once in the air, the kids are allowed to take the controls of the plane, instilling a sense of empowerment within each and every one of them. This amazing event attracted close to 200 individuals, including families who did not have participates, but rather were drawn to the airport by the opportunity to watch the planes as well as to participate in the numerous other activities organized at the Taylor Municipal.
